They end up doing things different from what they came for and the Hollywood Boulevard turns into the Boulevard of broken dreams. Hence you earned my respect.” (Mr Lutz Braumann – business consultant.)

GIVING BACK

believe that as a people, with each other we grow.

The greatest satisfaction I get is interacting with people and making a growth difference. Currently I express this through my involvement with the Amy Foundation where I offer my time to train beauty to disadvantaged learners, developing them to be entrepreneurs.

I started this initiative in 2014 with a community in Kalkfontein in Cape Town. In 2015 Khethimpilo requested my involvement using my beauty initiative to train high scholars in Durban.

The aim was to instill self dignity to the young girls. The school had a high drop out of learners and through this initiative we aimed to keep the learners in school till matriculating and hopefully for them to pursue tertiary education.

At the Amy Foundation we’ve had numerous intakes of learners.

We are now associating with Cape College of Education for the learners to be exposed to an international beauty program. I still want to do so much more which includes mentoring the learners in their beauty businesses.

Your history can keep you down, inspire you or motivate you. The choice is yours. – Roxy Marosa
