Tania Habimana is a bi-lingual, French & English, award-winning Belgium- Rwandan entrepreneur and lead anchor for CNBC Africa’s primetime business and financial markets TV show ‘Closing Bell’.

“Closing Bell” guides viewers through the most important hour of the trading day. The show takes a close-up look at how African and global markets are moving, what’s driving them and how investors are reacting.

On the show, Tania interviews analysts, investment managers, executives and listed company CEOs who’ll explain their strategies, share opinions, and provide insights on issues affecting the African business environment.

Prior to joining CNBC Africa aged just 24, Tania led the expansion of $350m menswear retailer brand, Suitsupply, into Sub-Sahara Africa, establishing its first-ever eCommerce delivering to 34 African countries. She then co-founded, Nonzēro Africa, a pan-african purpose-driven marketing agency focused on SME development and impact programs in Africa.

Her rapid ascension in business earned her multiple awards, notably, Digital Female Leader Awards 2018 in the ‘Global Hero’ category, an award by the European Parliament as well as SME Brand Contributor of The Year 2019 by South Africa Brand Summit.

Today, Tania sits on several advisory boards and enjoys mentoring business enthusiasts and youth all over the world. She uses her understanding of economic & financial data, digital trends and business, in her high-energy talks and as an MC/Moderator.

To date, Tania has interviewed and chaired panel discussions with over 400 leaders, across
20 countries, 3 continents to an audience of over +200,000 in both French & English.
